Summary
Cracky-chan was the original 4chan obsession, popping up in early 2005, a mere year and a half after 4chan was first created. Her pics were dragged from her LiveJournal, back when LJ was relevant and 4chan was not.
Origins
Cracky-chan first posted the famous "'Sup 4chan" picture in January of 2005, a mere 15 months after 4chan was invented.
Rise to fame
At some point it became common knowledge that she's a British schoolgirl named Olivia Wheatley. As she was a teenager in early 2005, she is approximately in her early 20's as of 2011.
Current status
Cracky-chan has since been overshadowed by later -chan girls. Boxxy has largely taken her legacy as Queen of /b/. She will always be the original huge obsession on 4chan. She is currently off the radar.
